We are seeking a Specialist, Financial Analysis & Planningfor our West Palm Beach, FL, Sacramento, CA, Canoga Park, CA or Huntsville, AL locations

The Specialist will be a key member of a team that provides planning, reporting, and analysis of financial metrics for the enterprise. The primary financial areas include capital planning and fixed asset acquisitions, cash, accounts receivables, revenue and profit.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

Using established procedures and working under minimal direction, the Specialist will:

25% - Assist the manager with the fixed asset acquisition process from capital administration and oversight to fixed asset transition. Validate and monitor capital expenditures, forecasting, and reporting throughout the enterprise. Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual capital meetings with site and departmental leaders.

25% - Assist with cash reporting and forecasting for the enterprise by supporting weekly meetings with stakeholders, tracking receipts, and developing processes to monitor and reduce late payments. An emphasis is placed on using/recommending report automation tools and other systems to increase productivity and results.

40% - Assist the team with financial data analysis and report preparation using Hyperion Smartview data Ad Hocs. Prepare responses to internal and external audit requests, management inquiries, and customer requirements. Support the annual and multi-year strategic planning processes with data acquisition and user preparation tools and templates, and analysis of key data.

10% - Perform other financial planning and analyses as required to provide users with meaningful data that drive results and measure performance and work with the departmental manager and team to promote an environment of inclusion, trust, excellence, and accountability.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Business field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a relevant business field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required and/or preferred qualifications:

  • Strong command of Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Hyperion Planning knowledge using Smartview and Ad Hocs
  • Qlik Analytics & Data Integration
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in fixed asset classifications, depreciation methods, terminology, and capital planning processes
  • Financial reporting
  • Cash reporting and Accounts Receivables
  • Motivated, hands-on self-starter seeking professional growth opportunities

Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
