Medix is partnering with a government health information technology services provider that is working towards building out a healthcare Azure cloud-native microservices platform, that is primarily built in .NET and Angular. They’re looking to bring a Software Engineer onto their team, who has a strong background in Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and software development.

Responsibilities:

1. Build out microservices, Azure cloud-native applications using .NET, C#, and Angular.
2. Follow Domain Driven Design and Event Driven architecture while building out applications.
3. Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items.
4. Collaborates closely with stakeholders, product owners, and feature team on developing requirements.
5. Refines business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
6. Communicates effectively with business stakeholders and technical team.
7. Mentor junior software engineers and perform code reviews as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering
3. Experience building out cloud-native applications (Azure or AWS)
4. Experience with .NET or similar object-oriented programming language
5. Experience with IaC (Terraform or similar tool)
6. Experience with Containerization & Orchestration (working with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker)
7. ADO Pipelines or CI/CD experience
