Based in Prospect, CT, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our in-house technology team and help take our development projects to the next level.

As a Software Developer at WORX, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom web and mobile applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions that align with client objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain Software Projects: Design, code, and implement custom software solutions, including websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
2. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with creative, content, and project management teams to translate client requirements into functional digital experiences.
3. Software Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle, from scoping, planning, and requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
4. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering growth and promoting best practices.
5. Modern Frameworks and Tools: Leverage modern development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Strapi) and tools to create efficient, scalable applications.
6. Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
7. Documentation: Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for internal and external use.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

1. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, C#, or Java.
2. Experience with frameworks and tools like React, TypeScript, Strapi, Vue, and React Native.
3. Strong understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL) and their integration.
4. Experience in website and mobile app development (iOS and Android).

Soft Skills:

1. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
3. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and client partners.

Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development.
2. Demonstrated ability to oversee the entire software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
2. Experience working in an agency or client-driven environment.
3. Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
