Downeast is on the lookout for an innovative Social Media Manager to amplify our brand presence across key platforms. The ideal candidate possesses a flair for crafting engaging content, an intuitive understanding of social media algorithms, and a passion for connecting with our audience in meaningful ways. Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills are essential to being successful in this job. Availability after regular business hours may be required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Curate, create, and manage published content (images, videos, written).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to synchronize online campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and emerging platforms.
- Engage with our community, fostering brand loyalty and driving customer interaction.
- Coordinate with influencers and other potential partners for collaborations.
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a company
- Proven track record of growing brand presence and engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Fashion apparel experience a plus
