As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you will be responsible for curating and creating content across multiple social media platforms. You will write newsletters and blogs, collaborate on marketing strategies, and ensure our online presence is consistent and engaging. You will attend events at our venues to capture fresh content weekly. Additionally, you will attend monthly networking events to represent our company and capture content to enhance our digital presence.
This is a part-time position which provides a flexible schedule and can easily be combined with a second job/position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and curate content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google.
- Develop and execute a content calendar that aligns with the overall marketing and business goals.
- Write and send engaging newsletters to our subscribers.
- Write blogs, website copy, and other written materials to support marketing and engagement efforts.
- Attend weekly events at our venues to gather new content.
- Represent our brands at monthly networking events, capturing content and building relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting content and strategy based on metrics.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in social media and content marketing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with various audiences.
- Experience writing newsletters, blogs, and marketing content.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work weekends and attend monthly networking events.
- Experience in the event and wedding industry is a plus.
