The Senior Web Developer will maintain and enhance the current website, translating design concepts into functional, user-friendly experiences. The role involves ensuring responsiveness across devices, integrating features, and optimizing performance while collaborating with design and backend teams. It requires advanced front-end development, performance engineering, and content architecture skills to deliver a seamless and high-performing user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive UI using Next.js with App Router, ISR, and Middleware

• Design flexible CMS content with Sanity CMS and sanity-codegen for TypeScript schema integration

• Use Tailwind CSS for consistent styling

• Manage high-performance Vercel deployments and edge functions including preview environments and automated CI/CD pipeline

• Maintain clean script definitions and documentation for third-party integrations to prevent performance degradation

• Implement monitoring for proactive issue resolution with Sentry for error tracking and performance profiling

• Drive organic growth through technical SEO including metadata management, semantic HTML, and JSON-LD structured data

• Write clean, scalable software following best practices including automated testing and thorough PR reviews

• Continuously write, test, debug, and maintain sites, staying updated on modern tools for accessible and aesthetic web solutions

• Become a domain expert and familiarize with other domains

• Possess strong knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS)

• Develop documentation and proposals for existing and proposed architectures

• Design and build a modular, reusable component library following components.json standards for brand consistency

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in web design, software engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Expert proficiency with Next.js (App Router, ISR, Middleware, edge functions)

• Proficient in React

• Experience with Yarn, monorepo workflows, and automated code quality tools (ESLint, Prettier, Husky)

• Proven experience diagnosing and fixing performance bottlenecks related to LCP, CLS, and FID

• Experience with modern CI/CD workflows using Vercel, Sentry, and automated quality gates

• Experience building modular component architectures with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS

• Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams

• Experience working in and contributing to an Agile environment

• Ability to diagnose complex issues and develop technical solutions

• Ability to write clear, maintainable, extensible, and testable code

• Self-driven with ability to work independently

• Dedication to innovative designs and collaborative problem-solving

• Flexibility to work Eastern/Central time zones
