SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Contributes to strategy for Cincinnati Children's social media efforts in support of advancing and protecting the overall brand. Responsible for planning, creating and disseminating content for Cincinnati Children's social media platforms in support of, and in alignment with, the organization's goals and objectives. Evaluates performance of the same and makes adjustments as needed.

CAREER LEVEL SUMMARY: Requires strong conceptual and working knowledge in job area. Works independently, with moderate level of guidance and exhibits good judgment. Brings some direct / relevant experience to perform a range of assignments related to job discipline. Applies experience to accomplish difficult tasks. Demonstrates strategic alignment with organizational goals and objectives as well as innovative and new approaches in bringing the brand to life on social platforms.

Representative Responsibilities

• Content - Plans, seeks out and develops stories and content for publishing on various social media platforms, as appropriate and as aligned to support overall organization objectives. Develops, produces, edits, distributes, and tracks content and makes adjustments as needed. Incorporates multi-media approach to storytelling. Identifies opportunities and raises them to the team. Works to elevate and innovate communications platforms. Manages projects from start to completion with moderate supervision.
• Production - Develops written content, produces and edits video projects and has the ability to capture compelling still images. Looks for ways to incorporate multi-media approaches to storytelling. Independently manages small to medium sized projects and events.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:
 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline

Preferred:

Ability to shoot and edit video. Photography experience.
