About You:


  1. You are a technical leader with strong expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, grounded in system design and cloud-native development.

About the Role:


  1. Technical Leadership, Quality & Impact
  2. Architect, design, and deliver large-scale, high-performance features across the full stack.
  3. Lead system-level design and data modeling to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions aligned with best practices.
  4. Think broadly about AI, including how to build with it, integrate it into features, and use it to drive innovation.
  5. Own technical initiatives end-to-end, ensuring efficient delivery, strong performance, extensibility, and reliability.
  6. Guide and contribute to operational engineering efforts, including test automation, observability, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  7. Partner on cloud architecture decisions to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
  8. Produce high-quality, production-ready code that follows coding and operational standards, accounts for edge cases, and is well-documented.
  9. Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve system performance through ongoing refactoring and advanced debugging.
  10. Enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance by using monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify issues.
  11. Foster a culture of learning through design discussions, constructive feedback, and cross-team collaboration.


Collaboration, Innovation & Mentorship


  1. Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners to align technical work with business goals and customer needs.
  2. Mentor engineers at varying experience levels, offering guidance on architecture, DevOps, patterns, and problem-solving.
  3. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to maintain alignment.
  4. Encourage knowledge sharing through documentation, presentations, and peer collaboration.
  5. Explore ways AI can improve developer productivity, automate workflows, and strengthen system reliability.
  6. Evaluate and advocate for new tools and technologies that can enhance the engineering stack when appropriate.
  7. Lead initiatives that drive innovation and continuous improvement, challenging existing approaches to deliver greater value.
  8. Contribute to system-wide architectural discussions to support long-term strategy and scalability.


Qualifications:


  1. 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience on high-performing teams.
  2. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
  3. Advanced experience with system design, data modeling (MongoDB, Postgres), and cloud-native development on AWS.
  4. Hands-on experience with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
  5. Proven ability to debug complex systems and implement observability for operational excellence.
  6. Experience integrating AI code assistants to improve productivity and code quality, using at least one of the following: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, RooCode, or RooCline.
  7. Demonstrated success mentoring engineers, aligning technical solutions with business objectives, and influencing cross-functional teams.
  8. Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and prioritizing high-impact engineering solutions.

The salary range for this role is $140,000–$175,000. In addition to base pay, the offer includes an employee equity package and the benefits outlined below.
