About us and what we are looking for:

Small local trucking company looking for experienced part time diesel mechanic 2-3 nights per week to perform maintenance and general repairs on tractors and trailers. Some lifting. Must be reliable and able to work independently. A good supplemental income for the right person.

Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour based one experience

Schedule: 2/3 days per week (flexible days) - either 4pm to 7pm or 5pm to 8pm (flexible)

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Responsible for general repairs and maintenance of diesel trucks
• Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues
• Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
• Repairing or replacing brakes, tires and other associated parts/general maintenance repairs

Diesel Mechanic Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on diesel trucks is required
• Drivers license is highly required
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
• Knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
