Job Title: Principal Mobile Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Rate: Up to $60-$70/hr

We are seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine) and working knowledge of Android (Kotlin) to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications. This is a hands-on technical leadership role (50% coding / 50% architecture & mentorship) focused on building scalable, secure, AI-enabled mobile solutions.

Required Skills:

1. 10+ years of mobile development experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
2. Expert in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine; Android/Kotlin knowledge required
3. Strong experience in mobile architecture, system design, engineering standards, and performance optimization
4. Experience with Firebase, Fastlane, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, OAuth2, Datadog, Google/Adobe Analytics
5. Cloud-connected mobile architecture (Azure or AWS)
6. AI-assisted development experience (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) preferred
7. Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
8. Consumer-facing mobile application experience required; FinTech/Payments experience preferred

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
