About the Role
Camelot SI LLC, the official licensee of SharperImage.com, is looking for a highly technical, execution-oriented Performance Marketing Manager to own the day-to-end operations of our paid acquisition channels. This is a "hands-on-keyboard" role requiring deep expertise in platform-level execution, bid management, and creative optimization. You will be responsible for the direct management of significant advertising spend, ensuring every campaign is optimized for maximum efficiency and scale across search and social ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Campaign Execution: Build, launch, and manage high-scale campaigns within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Business Manager (Facebook/Instagram).
- Paid Search Optimization: Conduct continuous keyword research, A/B test ad copy, and manage complex bidding strategies to maintain top-tier positioning and low CPAs.
- Paid Social Management: Oversee audience building and creative testing on social platforms, utilizing lookalike audiences and interest-based targeting to drive high-intent traffic.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze daily performance metrics through Google Analytics and platform-specific reporting tools to make real-time adjustments to budgets and targeting.
- Funnel Optimization: Partner with internal teams to ensure landing pages are optimized for conversion, focusing on reducing friction and maximizing the return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain precise tracking and attribution models to provide clear, actionable visibility into channel performance and incremental growth.
Tools & Skills
- Google Ads & Meta Business Manager: The primary platforms for campaign execution.
- Google Ads Editor: Essential for bulk edits, offline campaign builds, and structured change management without the latency of the web interface.
- Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing): For capturing high-intent search traffic outside the Google ecosystem.
- Advantage+ & Performance Max: Native AI tools within Meta and Google that automate bidding and creative assembly—mastering their asset reporting is critical.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): The industry standard for tracking the user journey from click to conversion.
Requirements
- Execution Expertise: 5+ years of direct experience managing six-to-seven-figure monthly spends in Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager, and API-based conversions to ensure data integrity.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret large datasets and historical trends to inform future bidding and scaling decisions.
- Agility: Proven ability to move quickly between high-level strategy and granular, platform-level adjustments.
- Resourcefulness: A self-starter who stays current with platform algorithm changes and emerging ad formats to maintain a competitive edge.
