Responsibilities:

• • Researching and identifying interesting sports facts in the NFL and NBA to publish or contribute to existing publications
  • Performing analysis to identify statistics to use in some of GIVEMESPORT'S highest performing articles
  • Monitor analytics and dynamically add relevant statistics to articles that are trending on Google or Facebook
  • Working with the editorial team to generate high quality ideas for publication
  • Contribute and write 40-50 pieces monthly

What makes a good candidate for this role:

• • Proficient data research skills in Sports
  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics in Sports (familiarity with advanced analytics sites such as basketball-reference.com and pro-football-reference.com considered a plus)
  • Excellent editorial judgment of what's newsworthy or worth covering
  • Advanced writing skills and ability to articulate researched sports data

Pay: fixed monthly amount – 30 hours a week
