We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant - Contract To Close teammate to join an established mortgage branch!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise borrowers on loan status and payment terms.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process from contract to closing day.
• Build rapport with borrowers and advocate for their financial goals
• File loan applications and supporting documents.
• Handle occasional complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Order and review third-party documentation and reports.
• Manage and meet deadlines.
• Assist Loan Officer with database management.
• General admin tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years previous experience in finance, banking, or loan origination - required.
• NMLS / SAFE MLO license - required.
• Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac guideline experience - required.
• Salesforce experience highly preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with financial and lending practices.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prompt and effective communication.

COMPENSATION:

• $40,000 salary + monthly production bonus structure.
• Expected total compensation to be within $50,000 - $70,000+
