Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for developing compelling content, managing our social media presence, executing email campaigns, and supporting various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting (50%)

  1. Write, edit, and optimize engaging copy for the Weekly Newsletter, social media posts (15-20 weekly), and podcast descriptions
  2. Develop compelling event copy for events
  3. Review and update WordPress landing pages for campaigns and events
  4. Collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing Specialist on content strategy

Email Marketing (20%)

  1. Format, proofread, and test the Weekly Newsletter, Partner Newsletter, and other email campaigns
  2. Build and schedule single-send email promotions and announcements

Social Media & Community Management (20%)

  1. Monitor and engage with our community across social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) through direct messages and comments
  2. Assist with Facebook Group moderation weekly or bi-weekly
  3. Provide real-time social media support during live webinars and events

Campaign Support (10%)

  1. Write persuasive ad copy for Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn campaigns
  2. Maintain and organize marketing assets in the content library (AMP) with proper tagging

Skills & QualificationsRequired

  1. 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related role
  2. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  3. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Social Pilot)
  4. Basic WordPress skills for content updates
  5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  6. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
  7. Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)

Preferred

  1. Experience in financial services or B2B marketing
  2. Knowledge of SEO best practices
