CommunityMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Coordinator to assist in executing our marketing plan and strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for various social media platforms, managing content calendars, attending community events, and supporting the Marketing Manager with various tasks, including tracking marketing expenses and campaign effectiveness.
Salary: $45,000-$47,000/Annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Stay up-to-date with platform trends and updates to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Content Calendar Management: Create and manage a monthly content calendar for each social media platform, ensuring all content aligns with the marketing strategy and submitting it for approval.
- Press & Publications: Aid in the creation of press releases and blog content, aligning with the company’s voice and objectives.
- Event Participation: Attend community events to increase brand awareness, capture content for social media and the website, and represent CommunityMed Urgent Care positively.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local brand partners, school nurses, PTA members, athletic coaches/directors, local physicians, and other medical facilities in the area.
- Opportunity Identification: Research and identify new marketing and advertising opportunities within the community, reporting these findings to the Marketing Manager for potential implementation.
- Merchandise Distribution: Distribute marketing merchandise to clinics as needed, ensuring materials are available to support local marketing efforts.
- Marketing Material Development: Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and other promotional items. Source new marketing merchandise as needed.
- Campaign Tracking: Support the Marketing Manager in tracking expenses related to marketing activities and campaigns. Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide insights for improvement.
- Idea Generation: Brainstorm new ideas for marketing campaigns, content, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- General Support: Assist the Marketing Manager with various tasks as needed, ensuring the smooth execution of the marketing plan.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven success in managing social media accounts, with a strong understanding of each platform's unique requirements and audience engagement techniques.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required by events and marketing activities.
