ExamWorks is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team!
The Marketing Associate works closely with the Operations and Management team to implement the various marketing strategies as defined by Senior Management. This position is responsible to create, implement marketing and advertising campaigns, social media updates and campaigns, content creation for the ExamWorks Business Units, compose various marketing reports and management of communications as approved by Senior Management. This position demonstrates a team oriented approach and must ensure all work and materials are accurate and timely and must strive to maintain current market knowledge in order to provide superior marketing content.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm EST.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create and manage content calendars driving all marketing campaigns, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, emailers, live engagements, and other media as needed.
- Execute market research projects.
- Create copy, edit, proofread, and revise communications.
- Design and launch email campaigns.
- Work with management to determine event budget and manage expenses within budget.
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
- Develop marketing communications campaigns and measure effectiveness over time.
- Create thought leadership materials and fresh content ideas that align with company goals.
- Work one-on-one with executive-level contacts developing and executing bespoke strategies to increase individuals’ and company’s social media engagement and exposure.
- Assist, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
- Research media coverage and industry trends.
- Work with internal team members, external stakeholders, and companies that create content and will manage the outside resources.
- Coordinate conferences, trade shows, and press interviews.
- Manage marketing templates and information.
- Attend regular sales and marketing meetings.
- Create and manage initiatives to promote internal staff engagement in marketing campaigns.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in communications and/or marketing preferred.
- Minimum two years of demonstrated marketing experience required.
- Experience with a legal organization or within the law community preferred.
Qualifications:
- Must have complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone.
- Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet. Preferred competency with SEO tool SEMrush, social media management tool Hootsuite, WordPress, Umbraco 7, and Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements’ directions accurately and efficiently.
- Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitor own work to ensure quality is met.
- Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.
