Amazon’s Business Service Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inventory Control and Quality Assurance lead to assist in the daily execution of inventory receiving and replenishment of product flowing out of North American fulfillment centers and our associated fulfillment network to customer site locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area for Amazon. The ICQA lead reports into the ICQA Area manager under the Service Operation Organization.

The ICQA lead will be responsible for receiving product and processing customer shipments at a assigned customer location and additional duties as assigned. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment and replenishment.

Key job responsibilities
• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Travel required to fulfillment work location
• Train in using web interface tools
• Receive product using web interface
• Process Inbound shipments (Take delivery of product, move product to designated location, Count inventory/record data, Restock supplies, organize delivery rooms, place orders) using web interface in a limited area
• Analyze and determine root cause of issues
• Provide daily feedback to process owners with root cause analysis
• Perform needed cycle counts and / or relocate product virtually and physically
• In the absence of leadership be able to be self-directed

Skill Requirements:
• Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of inventory control and systems in a service program fulfillment network
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to work independently, and with many teams within the building
• Must have an exceptional analytical aptitude
• Must have a drive and commitment towards solving problems
• Must demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Should be able to demonstrate integrity and confidentiality

Technical Requirements:
• Microsoft – Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must be able to comprehend a lot of information in a short period of time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
• 1+ years customer service, sales, transportation, inventory control or related experience
• Entry level knowledge of MS Excel based tools; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ year Customer service, Sales, Transportation, inventory control, and/or corporate building environments
• Strong prioritization and time management skills, with a high degree of flexibility.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $71,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
