Job Description:

Position Summary: The Healthcare Programs Independent Contractor Occupational Therapy Honorarium Position is the instructor of records for the Occupational Therapy Aide programs at Penn Foster and Ashworth

Essential Job Functions:

  • Check emails, at least, every 3 days and respond accordingly to faculty and student emails

  • Provide course revisions, reviews, and updates as needed

  • Serve as the course subject matter expert for the program

  • Represent Penn Foster as the subject matter expert and course instructor for accreditation visits and reviews, such as but not limited to DEAC and ACE

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

The Independent Contractor is knowledgeable about the field and profession of occupational therapy, including state regulations. This person agrees to work diligently to perform tasks to be assigned by the Customer and subject to change from time to time. The Independent Contractor's services will be subject to the Customer's final approval and will be performed in accordance with the Customer's standards.
