General Education Elementary Music Teacher - Contract

Location: Millbrae, CA

Hour Salary Range (based on the experience ): $35+

Required Qualifications:

• Current CA single subject credential
• Driver's license with own transportation
• 1-2 years of current school district teaching experience.
   

Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Planning and implementing lessons that cover Music for elementary students.
• Teach students basic introduction to music using instruments such as recorder, and maracas.
• Prepare for a school concert (typically Winter and Spring)
• Assessing students’ progress and providing feedback and guidance.
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters students’ curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
• Communicating with parents and guardians about students’ academic and behavioral performance.
• Managing classroom materials and resources.
• Participating in professional development and training.
