The Role

We are looking for an expert Full Stack Developerwith deep experience in Laravel, LAMP stack, and AWS. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining our platform, working alongside a high-performing team to enhance Restaurant.com's web and e-commerce infrastructure.

You must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the U.S. (Chicago area preferred) and you must be available to work full time in the US Central time zone.

What You'll Do

1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using Laravel
2. Optimize backend and frontend performance for high-traffic e-commerce requirements
3. Work with scalable, load-balanced AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability of systems
4. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build new features
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
6. Ensure security best practices across the application
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

1. Expert-level experience with Laravel and LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
2. Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, etc.)
3. Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-traffic web applications
4. Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and Bootstrap
5. Proficiency with Agile methodologies and the Scrum project management framework
6. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git and GitHub
7. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, caching strategies, and database optimization
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
10. Must be located in the U.S. (Chicago area preferred)
