Overview
LMI is seeking a junior Front-End Developer to support the development of web applications for Army recruiting initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to mission-driven software used across the Army recruiting enterprise. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and be self-directed, collaborative, and eager to grow technically.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update the front-end code for multiple web applications
- Write, design, and implement code using js
- Develop and execute unit test for product components
- Collaborate with a software development team using Git
- Meet with Army managers and representatives to discuss software issues and brainstorm methods of solving existing problems.
- Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements.
- Able to be methodical in documenting and testing your own code
- Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
- Participate in technical discussions with Army stakeholders to understand needs and improve application functionality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Percentage of Travel Required: 10%
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript in a professional setting
- Experience building web interfaces using React.js and/or vanilla JavaScript
- Familiarity with modern software development practices including Git, Agile workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to write clear, well-documented, and testable code
- Active Secret security clearance
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating React.js based front-ends into Django or Flask web frameworks
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases Experience developing applications for classified data
- Understanding of secure coding practices or experience working with classified data
- Interest or background in Army recruiting, personnel systems, or related domains
- Knowledge of Army software development tools, environments, or pocesses
Target salary range: $88,000.00 - 105,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
