Temporary WordPress Developer (Contract Position)

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on a temporary contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in custom WordPress theme development, ACF blocks, Git, JavaScript, and CSS/Sass. If you’re skilled at building modular, scalable, and maintainable WordPress solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch following best practices.
2. Build and maintain ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) blocks for a dynamic and flexible editing experience.
3. Collaborate via Bitbucket for version control and code reviews.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript for interactive front-end components.
5. Utilize CSS/Sass to create maintainable, responsive styles.
6. Optimize code and performance for a fast website experience.
7. Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience with custom WordPress theme development (not just theme modification).
2. Expertise in ACF Blocks and working within the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg).
3. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/Sass, and responsive design principles.
4. Familiarity with Git workflows for collaboration.
5. Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
6. Experience with PHP and WordPress API development is a plus.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
