Responsible for the safe production of extrusion profiles that meet or exceed VEKA standards in quality and output levels in a timely manner. These standards enable us to provide a quality product/service to ensure our customer’s satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have experience in industrial machine operation, and ability to set process parameters.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

1. Operate assigned extruders to produce profiles that meet established quality standards.


2. Responsible for the proper set-up and start-up of production machines.


3. Responsible for making process adjustments as required to established process and quality specifications.


4. Responsible for the profile production during shift, ensuring that profiles meet or exceeds VEKA Inc’s established quality standards.


5. Responsible for proper packaging in accordance with Veka standards.


6. Responsible for in process inspection and documentation of profiles during shift. This includes the use of calipers, scales, tape measure and other tools.


7. Responsible for properly preparing the QA samples on time every time.


8. Responsible for verifying that the profile meets or exceeds the customer expectations.
