Position Overview: The General Manager (GM) will oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient management of staff, and profitability. Additionally, the GM will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive traffic, enhance brand visibility, and create memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires a hands-on leader who is not only adept at running operations but also has a deep understanding of modern marketing tactics, both digital and traditional.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Restaurant Operations Management:
  2. Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  3. Manage staffing levels, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  4. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local codes.
  5. Monitor inventory and manage supplier relationships to control costs and maintain quality.
  6. Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
  7. Marketing and Branding:
  8. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, attract new customers, and retain loyal patrons.
  9. Manage social media channels, creating engaging content and building an online community.
  10. Work with local media outlets, influencers, and event organizers to promote the restaurant through various PR initiatives.
  11. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that drive business growth and seasonal traffic.
  12. Analyze customer data and market trends to continually refine marketing efforts and maximize ROI.
  13. Financial Management:
  14. Monitor and analyze financial performance, creating and maintaining budgets.
  15. Implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality service and food standards.
  16. Analyze and report on financial metrics including revenue, labor costs, and overhead.
  17. Team Leadership and Development:
  18. Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of managers, chefs, and front-of-house staff.
  19. Provide ongoing training and professional development to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  20. Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that aligns with the restaurant's values.
  21. Customer Experience:
  22. Maintain a strong focus on guest experience, ensuring that all customers have an outstanding visit.
  23. Regularly interact with guests, gathering feedback and ensuring their needs are met.
  24. Innovate and improve service offerings based on guest insights and trends.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and marketing.
  2. A solid marketing background, including experience with digital marketing, social media, SEO, email campaigns, and event promotions.
  3. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to analyze data, create reports, and adjust strategies based on key performance indicators.
  5. Knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
  6. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L statements.
  7. A passion for food, hospitality, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
  8. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with marketing automation tools, website management, and content creation.
  2. Knowledge of local food and beverage industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,499.00 per year
