We are currently looking for an Executive Director/Director of Operations. The Executive Director is responsible for day-to-day operations and overall productivity of the branch. Must be willing to take appropriate action and make decisions to shape team priorities that will achieve branch clinical and operational goals. Ensure effective and on-going, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate, record individual and team performance, provide coaching and counseling and make appropriate developmental recommendations. Establish criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity or service. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations and the Company's policies and procedures. Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to develop approaches that best position products, services or ideas in the marketplace. Partner with Area/Regional Leadership Teams to develop and implement comprehensive business development plans for the branch. Organize information/data to identify/explain major trends, problems and causes; Compare and combine information to identify underlying issues. Generate actions to achieve long-range goals. Stay current of industry trends and regulatory requirements through activities such as participating in State Associations, attending courses and reviewing industry publications.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Executive Director/Director of Operations will include, but not be limited to the following:
2 - 5 years of hospice experience
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience accepted
Master’s degree preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts and practices and ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations
Ability to apply highly proficient and specialized skills that allow the employee to function in situations that are varied, complex, and/or non-routine
Advanced planning and project management skills, excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license and MUST have reliable transportation
Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment with competing priorities
Excellent problem solving and task analysis skills
Advanced ability to interact and create a collaborative working environment amongst all executives at all levels of the organization
Possess a responsible, detail-oriented, results-driven work ethic

Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to meet the public and staff as a positive, friendly and professional representative of the agency.
Effective social interaction, communication and organizational skills and the ability to perform task efficiently.
Understanding of Microsoft Office is required. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
Personal car for travel and valid driver’s license.
Carry personal auto liability insurance coverage.
Experience in Hospice and/or the Healthcare industry is a plus.
