Orange County Utilities provides water resources and solid waste recovery services to protect and enrich the lives of the citizens and guests of Orange County Florida. The Field Services Division is responsible for the inspection, testing, regulatory compliance, operation, and maintenance of over 4,600 miles of pipeline, over 10,000 fire hydrants, and about 810 wastewater pump stations.
Orange County Utilities Field Services is seeking qualified individuals to fill Equipment Operator IV positions. These positions requires skilled advanced work operating complex heavy construction and maintenance equipment including performing routine safety checks and maintenance of the equipment as necessary.
Representative Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in the operation and maintenance of medium to heavy automotive, construction or maintenance equipment.
Must be able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
Required to possess and maintain the appropriate valid Florida Commercial Driver’s License for the type of equipment operated.
Required to possess (or obtain within six months of hire) the appropriate valid Florida Commercial Driver’s License for the type of equipment operated.

Hours per week: 40
Hours/Days of Work: 8 hours per day 5 days per week or 10 hours per day 4 days per week
