Job Description
This is a full-time salaried role for our cllient in Mountain View via Vaco. As a Merchandising Associate you will execute the client store operations with a focus on Apps and Games.
Responsibilities:
Editorial Support
- Support the team by testing apps and games, drafting content, responding to edits, and publishing
- Write and/or edit copy for long- and short-form articles, banners, and collections on the store
- Build and maintain content publishing schedules and use internal tools to update the relevant store surfaces
- Support operational communications with external parties (developers, agencies, etc.)
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional and international team environment
Operations
- Program all Editorial projects as needed
- Curate collections, collaborate on art requests, meet project plan deadlines, offer context on localization/translation requests
- Lead editorial operations for store events and promotional activities
- Maintain training resources and documentation for Editorial nuances
- Research new and trending apps and games, as well as test them for quality
- Support ad hoc merchandising initiatives as required, which may fall outside of specific focus areas stated above
Reporting
- Operationally support data analysis by collating relevant metrics and creating reports
Minimum Role Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional writing experience with strong editorial skills
- Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating interest and understanding of mobile apps and games business landscape/industry
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Strong communication skills and collaborative working approach
- Familiarity with digital content management systems
- BA/BS degree required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
Preferred Role Qualifications:
- Previous experience in merchandising, marketing, digital, retail and/or content businesses
- Familiarity with matrix management structures
