Our UM Foundation development team works collaboratively at the intersection between donors’ philanthropic passions and the University’s greatest opportunities for growth. Members of our development team advise donors through the giving cycle – from identification to gift closure.
Today, we have an outstanding opportunity for a fundraising professional to join the team at the College of Business – the top business school in the region, grounded in the hands-on learning and success of students.
This fundraising position will support the College of Business’ mission by driving fundraising strategies, building relationships with donors, and engaging soliciting, and stewarding donors in the supportive team environments of the University of Montana Foundation and College of Business.

About the College of Business
The University of Montana College of Business is the oldest AACSB-accredited business college in the state of Montana. Known as a top provider of business education in the region, the College of Business was named the top business school in the Big Sky Conference for six consecutive academic years from 2018 –2022. The College remains the top business school in Montana.
The College of Business offers seven unique undergraduate majors, eight certificates, one minor and three graduate programs, including Cybersecurity, Accounting, Entertainment Management, Big Data Analytics, Sustainable Business Strategy, and more. The college focuses on applied, experiential education by having students participate in hands-on business projects. Over 80% of students complete at least one internship prior to graduating and become confident technologists, and over 82% of students are employed or in graduate school within three months of graduation.
