Data Entry Operator Duties:
Enters data from source documents into workplace databases
File and organize incoming data
Adhere to established filing systems
Promote a pleasant work environment by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing them to appropriate individuals
Perform related administrative duties as required
Data Entry Operator Responsibilities:
Assist in administrative duties, such as answering phones and greeting customers
Input and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and other software
Archive and organize records, reports, and documents
Manage orders, invoices, and expense reports
Conduct research, compile information, and prepare reports
Perform basic accounting tasks such as posting payments and invoices
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
Entry-level position requiring a minimum of a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience performing data entry or a related task
Ability to input data in an accurate and timely manner
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access)
Highly organized and able to complete
