We're looking for a Content Lead who is both passionate and creative. You will be responsible for strategizing and shaping marketing content across all distribution channels. Candidates must embrace taking on simultaneous challenges in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create an integrated content marketing calendar to successfully evangelize the brand and positively impact lead generation and traffic goals
- Work closely with outside contractors and or agencies to support PR and media relations
- Serve as marketing leader that owns collaboration and content strategy alignment between key internal stakeholders, industry professionals, and thought leaders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure copy meets strategic objectives, business and legal requirements, and digital principles
- Conduct market research to supplement information provided by SMEs and work with SMEs to create thought leadership content, including but not limited to: blog posts, bylines, white papers, infographics, video scripts, case studies, etc.
- Copywrite marketing content and sales collateral, including: sell sheets, print ads, webinar slide decks, sales presentations, microsites, landing pages, speaking engagement scripts, etc.
- Create briefs with full outline details for copywriter contractors and then edit, proofread and improve content and marketing materials
- Lead creative brainstorming and collaboration with a graphic designer to ensure brand consistency and edginess to visually paint the story the content needs to tell
- Lead efforts to identify new content communication opportunities, repurpose existing content, and surface other creative ways to establish more meaningful user experiences
- Lead efforts for the writing of social media posts, creation of display ads, curation of digital content, etc.
- Act as a key partner and advisor to marketing leadership for internal Corporate Communications efforts ensuring consistent, frequent, transparent, and impactful communications throughout the organization
What you’ll need:
- Experience in the U.S. healthcare industry required
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience in Communications, Journalism, or English
- 5+ years of experience in a content role and possess excellent writing skills
- Experience in creating a content marketing calendar
- B2B SaaS experience required
- Experience in Sprout Social, Wordpress and Wrike preferred (we’re a startup and everyone needs to pitch in and be scrappy sometimes)
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate and strategize with SMEs, sales, and product stakeholders successfully and respectfully
- An understanding of how to structure a story and explain concepts using clear everyday language
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to convey concepts creatively, logically, and concisely
