POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing and processing closing packages, by determining proper documentation and due diligence requirements. Ensures bank policies and procedures and regulations are adhered to for proper documentation and perfection of the bank's lien prior to funding.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prepares closing packages for loans/leases and completes funding review of documents.
- Completes setup of loans/leases in system including input of collateral records.
- Performs funds disbursement audits and manages 2nd day audit verifications.
- Completes and authorizes release of collateral on paid loans.
- Manages insurance follow up for CEF and Auto Lease portfolios.
- Performs and assists with miscellaneous monthly reporting and projects, including UCC continuations and follow up, drafting procedures and audits.
- Completes all compliance training.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Three (3) years or more of loan documentation related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of loan documentation and real property perfection.
- Knowledge of UCC Article 9 perfection.
- Good PC skills--proficiency in Word and Excel essential, understanding of database software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business preferred.
