About the team

The Treasury, Payments and Risk division is one of the highest growth business lines within Capital Markets and FIS, with exciting plans to drive double digit growth over the next 5 years. The division has clients and products spanning the globe and touching all financial industries, with particular focus on corporates, insurers, & banks.

What you will be doing

As the Business Analyst you will work within the Commercial Office which owns and communicates the division’s sales forecasts and projections.

Working in collaboration with the Solution Management/Product Organisation and liaising with the Global Sales teams you will be responsible for:

• Data analysis and turning unstructured data into clear business insights
• Working closely with key stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements, identify trends, and drive data driven decision making.
• Building improvements and efficiencies where applicable to improve level of forecasting
• Automation of manual data files to enable efficiency & accuracy in the commercial office
• Support process improvements following recent sales surveys including improving proactive sales communications & information collation
• Support Sales with consistent approach to pricing and approvals
• Benchmark and share best practice with other commercial offices

What you bring:

• A self-starter with experience of driving and delivering results
• MS Office experience, high proficiency in Excel comfortable building macros, and using advanced lookups and formulas (for data manipulation) and PowerPoint experience with a high degree of proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex findings to stakeholders.
• A sound understanding of the financial services or payments and technology industry
• Ideally experience working within a commercial environment

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience working in the Treasury &/or Risk Management/Insurance industries
• Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role, preferably in a commercial or financial setting.
