Position Summary:
As an Associate Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for writing code for the entirely new set of NBA products across the ever-growing ecosystem of HTML5 powered connected devices (Xbox, PlayStation, Samsung, Hisense, and others). You possess a strong technical base and wish to further your expertise in software design and architecture. Major Responsibility:
Contribute TypeScript/JavaScript code to build features and to address issues across the product
Create iterative and approachable code commits illustrated in well-documented pull requests Implement and maintain the appropriate unit, UI, and integration tests
Follow workflow processes, automations, and integrations
Manage workload and organization using agile methodology and project ticketing tools
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers to produce high quality work
Required Skills/Knowledge:
1+ years of professional experience architecting, developing, and launching software products and/or services
Knowledgeable of platform patterns, designs, and idioms
Understands standard workflow tooling for source management
Experience with agile development philosophies and practices Interest in specific domains for sports and live-sport-event technologies: Videostreaming, low-latency networking strategies, etc.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Salary Range:
$90,000 to $110,000 per year
