Job Overview:

This will be a hybrid HR role, the individual will play a key role in supporting the growth of the employee advisor channel through a balance of HR Project Management leadership and HR Generalist support. This individual will ensure our HR Business Partner team is poised to deliver on growth initiatives led by our Liquidity & Capital and Employee Channel leaders. The successful candidate will have experience with project management, a solid understanding of Human Resources across various disciplines and the desire to drive continuous improvement in our integration experience.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Establish and manage HR project timelines in partnership with key functional workstream leads to support acquisition activity for the employee channel
  • Lead HR Business Partner efforts in support of acquisition activity for asset purchase deals inclusive of reviewing due diligence to understand integration implications, partnering with the management team to make recommendations for employment offers, preparing data files for populating the HR data system, and leading coordination efforts with partner teams to ensure the HR Business Partner team consistently meets established deadlines
  • Assess current HR program workflow, experience and templates to identify areas of opportunity for streamlining existing processes, reducing manual efforts and enhancing the new hire experience for the employee channel
  • Manage all aspects of performance management for assigned business units directly with people managers and in partnership with Employee Relations as appropriate to ensure consistent practice, oversight and appropriate documentation
  • Prepare and maintain materials to support initiatives across the broad client group in partnership with the larger HR Consulting team
  • Provide direct support to cross-functional partners, employees or business leaders in the employee advisor channel in creative problem solving and navigating Human Capital questions related to topics including Benefits, LPL Resources, enterprise activities and resources
  • Act as the voice of the HR team to influence continuous improvement for deal activity impacting the employee channel as well as acting as the voice of the internal client to facilitate improvements to LPL's HR policies, benefits, initiatives, processes, etc.
  • Provide creative and innovative solutions to the business on complex problems
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams and assignments as necessary, often partnering with Compensation & Benefits; Talent Development; Learning Delivery; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging; Talent Acquisition; HR Ops, Systems & Analytics; Corporate Real Estate; and Corporate Communications

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ year’s professional level experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to partner effectively with Human Capital groups including employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, payroll and HR Systems as well as cross-functional partners including compliance, legal and sales recruiting

     

Core Competencies:
 

  • Proficient in HR Generalist skills such as Employee Relations, Talent Development, and Project Management
  • Project Management knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws essential
  • Microsoft Office Products proficient
  • Human Resource Management Systems – proficient
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times related to advisor and employee matters
  • Strong orientation around customer service, an advisor experience focus and strong verbal/written communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple priorities, work independently and as a team in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Comfortable learning, navigating and leveraging systems and tools such as Workday, Smartsheets and Excel

     

Preferences:
 

  • Experience working within the financial services industry
  • Project Management certification

     

Pay Range:

$76,400-$114,600/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
