Bishop O’Connell High School seeks an Associate Director of Admissions to support the day to day efforts of the school’s admissions office to attract, enroll and retain students. The Associate Director reports directly to the Director of Admissions. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and possess superior interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills, exemplary oral and written communication skills, and be supportive of the mission of Catholic education and Bishop O’Connell. Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the initial contact for the Office of Admissions
• Maintaining and operating a database of enrollment inquiries, and disseminates appropriate information to families
• Collecting and following up with materials for applications and registrations
• Creating and maintaining data files for new students
• Overseeing I-20 requests for International Students, submits semester reports and acts as liaison between the International Advisor for Catholic Schools and International Students at Bishop O’Connell High School.
• Organizing and executing all events for potential applicants and newly enrolled students and their families, including Open House, Preview Knight, Youth Events and New Family Barbeque
• Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
• Planning and executing the administration of the pre-HSPT for rising 8th graders, as well as the High School Placement Test for 8th grade students multiple times per year
• Participating in Admissions and Financial Aid Committees
• Participating in local recruiting trips, fairs and school visits
• Following up with families after contact, tours or events
• Supporting the Student Ambassador Program
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
• Note: Some on and off-campus events take place in the evening or on weekends.
