Role: Account Executive (AE)The Account Executive (AE) plays a vital role in the agency by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with e-commerce brands. This individual serves as the face of the agency for prospects, driving growth by selling tailored Amazon, Walmart, TikTok, creative services and more, that meet the needs of prospective clients. The AE is responsible for prospecting, managing sales pipelines, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and market knowledge to meet revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Sales and Prospecting:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a mix of warm leads and cold outreach.
- Develop and execute targeted cold outreach strategies via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage prospective clients.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points, goals, and how the agency’s services align with their needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline through CRM systems, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
Presentations and Proposals:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, highlighting the agency’s expertise in Amazon advertising, SEO, creative services, and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings to meet the unique needs of each prospect.
Client Education and Relationship Building:
- Educate prospects on the value and potential of the agency’s services to optimize their Amazon presence.
- Build long-term relationships with potential clients, fostering trust and demonstrating credibility throughout the sales process.
Market Knowledge and Collaboration:
- Stay informed on Amazon trends, tools, and strategies to position the agency as an industry leader.
- Work closely with marketing and sales operations teams to align outreach efforts with broader agency goals.
Results
- New Business Growth: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas for new client acquisition.
- Revenue Generation: Contribute directly to the agency’s revenue growth by closing high-value deals.
- Cold Outreach Effectiveness: Deliver measurable results through targeted cold outreach efforts, including increased discovery call bookings and a growing pipeline of qualified leads.
- Improved Conversion Rates: Drive higher close rates by refining the sales process and consistently delivering high-quality presentations and proposals.
- Client Onboarding: Ensure a smooth handoff of newly signed clients to internal teams, maintaining a positive client experience from the start.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in sales, preferably in e-commerce, Amazon services, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and present effectively to various stakeholders.
- Sales Techniques: Proven ability to perform cold outreach, handle objections, and close deals successfully.
- CRM Expertise: Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipelines and track performance.
- Amazon Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon’s ecosystem, including advertising, SEO, and creative services, is a plus.
- Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies to meet changing market demands.
