Job Description:

We are building the team again, hiring another Account Executive for our client Orlo (orlo.tech) as they are growing very quickly. They don't have the HR capacity right now for this aggressive effort so we are helping them expedite that growth in several areas. Please do not contact them directly as Phil (VP of BD) will only review candidates that have completed our 2 interview process- an introductory call with a Recruiter and a Meet with one of Framework's Partners that knows this team well.


This role is approximately 90K (180KOTE) with an uncapped commission structure

Location can be anywhere but they have the East covered with another AE so ideally Central/West.


Candidates MUST have 5-10 years of experience in government sales (passion for the Public Sector and able to build trust quickly), a strong cultural fit (bold, aggressive, curious, hard worker, be focused), but enjoy life with friends and family. Passionate about the Public Sector / govt space and are able to build trust with customers.

Deal sizes range from $7,500-$200,000 - but 10,000-30,000, 50,000. Not a highly complex product sale / just a day to implement

We are looking for a high-energy, mission-driven Sales professional to help US government agencies build stronger relationships with the communities they serve.


About the Role

As a SaaS Account Executive for the US Public Sector, you will be a key player in our North American expansion. You won’t just be selling software; you’ll be helping public officials solve complex communication challenges, manage their digital reputation, and improve citizen experience. You will own the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery to navigating the complexities of government procurement and closing the deal.


Responsibilities

  1. Drive Revenue: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within US local and state government agencies.
  2. Strategic Prospecting: Build a robust pipeline through a mix of outbound outreach, networking at industry events, and following up on marketing-generated leads.
  3. Expert Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact virtual and (occasionally) in-person demonstrations of the Orlo platform, tailoring the value proposition to the specific needs of public sector stakeholders.
  4. Navigate Procurement: Manage complex government buying cycles, including navigating RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs, and various purchasing frameworks.
  5. Collaborate: Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to share feedback from the US market to help shape our regional roadmap.
  6. Forecast Accuracy: Maintain an organized CRM (HubSpot) and provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.


Qualifications

  1. The Experience: 5-10 years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales.
  2. The Sector: A track record of selling technology specifically to government agencies (Local, State, or Federal). You understand the "public sector pace" and the nuances of government budgets.
  3. The Hustle: A "founding member" mindset. You are comfortable with the ambiguity of an expanding territory and have the drive to build a book of business from the ground up.
  4. Communication: Exceptional presentation and writing skills. You can explain complex technical features in a way that resonates with non-technical public sector leaders.
  5. Location: You can be based anywhere in the US. This is a 100% remote role, but you must be disciplined in managing your own schedule and territory.


Required Skills

  1. Proficiency with modern sales stacks (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft).
  2. Familiarity with social media management or CX (Customer Experience) software is a significant plus.


Pay range and compensation package

  1. ~90k/180k OTE with an uncapped commission structure.
