Our services include pick-up, secure storage, and delivery of personal belongings during school breaks, making life easier for busy students. Additionally, we provide shipping and delivery services to and from campus. We pride ourselves on offering convenient, reliable, and affordable solutions tailored to the unique needs of students.
We’re looking for a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves Marketing Generalist who is passionate about branding and can help us become the go-to storage solution for students nationwide. You’ll develop and lead creative marketing campaigns that resonate with students, drive brand loyalty, and elevate our presence on college campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing campaigns to engage students where they spend the most time—online. Oversee content for social media, email, and digital ads to boost awareness, drive engagement, and grow our customer base.
- Content Creation: Develop fun, relatable, and engaging content for social media platforms, email newsletters, blog posts, and other marketing materials that speak directly to college students.
- Student Engagement: Develop marketing initiatives that connect with students and their families in a meaningful way, including creating student-friendly messaging, promotions, and campaigns that highlight the ease and convenience of our services.
- Brand Strategy & Development: Lead efforts to build and maintain Storage Squad’s brand identity, ensuring we are recognized as the top student storage solution. Focus on aligning all marketing efforts with a student-centric brand message.
- Campus Presence: Build and strengthen our brand presence on college campuses by forming partnerships with universities, student organizations, influencers, and campus leaders. Lead efforts to host on-campus events, sponsorships, and brand activations.
- Customer Insights & Market Research: Stay in tune with the student market by conducting research to understand their evolving needs and preferences. Use this data to inform campaigns and improve our services.
- Brand Ambassadors: Recruit, train, and manage student brand ambassadors who will represent Storage Squad on their campuses and help drive word-of-mouth marketing.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, ensuring we’re optimizing for maximum student engagement and ROI. Regularly report on key metrics and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet business goals and increase brand awareness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, with emphasis on digital marketing, and student-focused initiatives.
- Experience in digital marketing including email marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM, with a creative approach to student engagement.
- Strong content creation skills, especially in designing campaigns that resonate with Gen Z audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with campus influencers.
- Data-driven, with experience in analyzing campaign performance and making informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Experience managing student ambassador programs or similar grassroots marketing initiatives is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
