Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the Texas territory for Rhythm Healthcare. This role promotes respiratory and durable medical equipment to healthcare service providers (DME Service providers, specialty physicians, and physical therapists). This position is ideal for someone experienced in promoting respiratory and DME products to healthcare professionals.

 

Ideal individual is creative, energetic and passionate about sales, equally able to build new business through cold calling and prospecting while providing excellent service to existing accounts, helping them grow through regular business reviews. Must have a demonstrable impressive track record in B2B outside sales (3+ years).

The territory covers all of Texas (excluding El Paso) and 40% overnight travel is to be expected. Ideal candidate resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

 

Compensation reflected in this posting is a combination of salary and bonus/commissions. It is the target compensation for first year, at plan achievements. A complete benefits package, including medical, dental and matching 401(k) is provided. Phone and auto allowances are also provided.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sources, builds and maintains strong, long-standing relationships with customers using inbound and outbound strategies

• Researches prospective customers and identifies key players to generate interest and new business.

• Identifies sales strategies that will result in exceeding performance expectations and revenue goals.

• Manages creation and presentation of quotations as well as product and service information.

• Maintains an understanding and awareness of product knowledge, competitive market, industry trends,

government regulations, and technical developments that impact markets.

• Perform other duties as required to meet the business needs of the company.

 

Qualifications:

• BA/BS is required-- areas such as business administration, marketing or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience

• Experience in Respiratory or Durable Medical Equipment is a huge plus!

• Strong computer skills and experience utilizing integrated CRM system.

• Strong relationship and negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial commitments and expectations with customers.

• Confidence to ask for the business.

• Capable of managing a territory by analyzing and managing pipeline activity.

• Ability to conduct presentations in a professional, polished manner.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Desire and ability to provide excellent customer service at all times.

• Strong team player who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence and high standards.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

• Acute attention to detail and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

• Receptive to coaching and learning new ideas.

• Ability to travel the assigned geography, expecting approximately 40% overnight stays.
