Seeking a Technical Writer to collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop accurate and user-friendly API Implementation User Guides. These on User Guides must include code samples, multiple use cases to help the end user choose which APIs to use and provide thorough descriptions of client’s API functions.

You will:

1. Enhance existing API documentation to be used by internal stakeholders. Maintain internal and external facing API documentation as required with each new software release.
2. Provide regular written and verbal status updates to applicable stakeholders.

Pay: $55/hour W2

Start: Mid- November

Location: Remote/Virtual

Duration: 5 months with possible extension

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of technical writing experience with a focus on API documentation for developers.
2. Strong understanding of APIs and programming concepts.
3. Experience working with a content management platform and the ability to communicate value of the platform with informative technical writing skills.
4. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that uses Agile software development methodologies
5. Sharp writing skills, and ability to accept and provide editorial feedback.
6. Portfolio/work samples required (technical user guides)
