Job Description:

The Data management team who supports the Powered Industrial Vehicle Technology (PIVT) and Global Hydrogen Economy (GHE) Teams is seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support Amazon technologies for Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and Hydrogen solutions deployed in our world-wide Fulfillment Center network. Key job responsibilities
The TPM for this role is focused on connecting the business needs for pilot success measurement and data used for analyzing deployed products. Their primary responsibilities will focus on developing analytics, either independently, or through partnership with other analytics team, which answer questions from business and the development teams testing new technology solutions. To be successful in this role will require equal parts stakeholder management, requirements gathering, translation of requirements into solutions, and ensuring what is built can solve the problems being presented from business. They will be a subject matter expert on the types of data, best analytics based on the stage of the support, and educating stakeholders on how the data can solve real-world problems.

A day in the life
Meet with stakeholders to refine their problems into data requirements. Meet with vendors to facilitate capturing data required for analysis. Build 1-off analytics, depending on the stage of the product, or work with a partner analytics team to build out solutions to problems. Keep abreast of current pilots & deployments, ensuring data requirements are captured in advance to measure success. Spend time learning about current data topics, to ensure we are offering the best solutions based on the industry.

About the team
The data team is a small but mighty org who supports a team working with third-party vendors deploying net-new and cutting edge solutions in the PIT & Hydrogen spaces. The focus is acquiring data from vendors to answer questions about success of products & pilots, while keeping a tight reign on data integrity. We maintain a balance of solutions that solve problems now, while keeping an eye towards how to scale and solve problems globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Advanced skills building and troubleshooting visualization tools (Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
