The Sr. Post Production Manager, Retouching is primarily responsible for supporting Ralph Lauren’s internal global advertising and marketing content agency through management of the photo post production process. This position will oversee both e-commerce and advertising photo retouchers, vendors, and freelancers who support ~250,000 e-commerce and ~20,000 advertising images annually. The Sr. Post Production Manager, Retouching will work to maintain the highest possible quality standard to help produce industry leading imagery. Support and partner with Post Production Lead on larger agency initiatives.
 

  • Serve as stills retouching point of contact and mitigate challenges which might derail post production SLAs.
  • Oversee and support e-commerce and advertising in-house retouchers to achieve high quality standards and deadlines.
  • Work closely with various internal agency partners including Production, Creative, Technology, and Operations to understand seasonal deliveries, priorities, and growth opportunities.
  • Support delivering Ralph Lauren’s creative vision by maintaining standards guidelines, appropriately triaging work, tracking progress, and continuously seek out efficiencies.
  • Utilize various project management tools and systems to operationalize workflows.
  • Lead and attend daily/weekly meetings to gather and share information relevant for post production team.
  • Monitor annual budgets, code and approve invoices
  • Work with Post Production Project Manager to strategize workflow and requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Support continuity between e-commerce and advertising product representation.
  • Work with DAM system to retrieve, work within, and deliver finalized assets and renditions.
     

Salary range: $101,000 - $205,000 annually

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
 

  • Advanced experience working in Post Production within a professional creative environment
  • Proven experience managing a Post Production Team with 3 + direct reports
  • Advance knowledge in a visual arts related degree
  • High technical proficiency in Macintosh OS, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Data manipulation, and general scripting logic.
  • Highly organized self-starter with superior communication, time management, and logistics skills.
  • Strong understanding of color correction and manipulation.
  • Experience hiring and working with retouching vendors, freelancers and agencies.
  • Proven experience working on multiple highly publicized projects.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining a high level of diligence and attention to detail across multiple projects.
  • Proven experience retouching for digital & print usage.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of all post production actions and key milestones
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines with extreme pressure and change
  • Strong interest in fashion, and lifestyle brands
  • Experience in Digital Asset Management systems and content release.
  • Experience in project management and workflow systems such as Monday.com, JIRA, and/or LucidChart.
  • Ability to work remotely as needed.
