  4. Develop, enhance, and test disaster recovery and backup strategies and plans to ensure business continuity through effective cloud architecture strategies.
  5. Consult on CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-specific automation.
  6. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and systems.

Technical Responsibilities:

  1. Azure Cloud Platform: Architect and implement cloud solutions using Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Front Door, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  2. Kubernetes: Support ASK infrastructure, ensuring effective scaling, security, and operations in a cloud-native environment.
  3. Microsoft Front Door: Design and manage global load balancing and traffic routing using Microsoft Front Door for high-performance web applications.
  4. SQL and Data Solutions: Support Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, and other data services to ensure high-performing, secure, and cost-efficient database solutions.
  5. Automation & Scripting: Manage infrastructure automation using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Pulumi to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  6. Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and in compliance with industry standards by implementing network security policies, encryption, and compliance controls within the Azure environment, along with playing an active role in vulnerability and configuration management.
  7. Monitoring & Alerts: Set up and manage Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting of cloud infrastructure.
  8. Performance & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction and performance optimization across the Azure environment, including rightsizing and auto-scaling of resources.

What we are looking for:

  1. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure engineering.
  2. Kubernetes: At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes, including management of clusters, configuration, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Azure Services: Deep experience with Azure cloud services, including but not limited to AKS, Front Door, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks and other Azure PaaS solutions.
  4. Data Solutions: Familiarity with ETL, data warehouse, and analytics deployments.
  5. DevOps: Strong familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
