Social Media Content & Video Editor (Remote / Flexible)

About the Role:

Video editing is priority #1. We’re looking for someone who can clip and polish short-form content for Instagram — think Reels with voiceovers, subtitles, trending audio, and smooth transitions.

If you can also design clean visuals like IG post templates, story banners, and quote graphics, that’s a major plus. The content is lifestyle-focused with a pet twist. This is fast-moving, mobile-first, social-driven content.

But it’s not just editing — we also need someone with a strong understanding of branding. Every clip, post, and design needs to follow a clear vibe and aesthetic. You should know how to maintain consistency across content without making it feel repetitive.

Some months will need more content, some less. You need to be flexible, fast, and know how to keep content non-repetitive and always on-brand.

Your Responsibilities:

Video Editing (REQUIRED)

1. Chop and edit footage for Reels
2. Add voiceovers, captions, trending sounds, transitions
3. Keep edits tight, clean, and on-brand

Graphic Design

1. Create IG story templates, banners, carousels, cover art
2. Design post visuals that fit the brand’s style

Monthly Content Flow

1. Keep up with monthly needs (some light, some heavy)
2. Bring new ideas while respecting past brand identity

Must-Have Skills:

1. Advanced with CapCut, Canva, Premiere, or similar tools
2. Deep understanding of Instagram/TikTok content flow and timing
3. Creative eye for layout, aesthetic, sound, and rhythm
4. Reliable, consistent, and easy to work with on a month-to-month basis
