Job Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy across both the Nuby and Dr. Talbot’s brands. This role will focus on increasing brand awareness, driving engagement, supporting product launches, and fostering a strong online community of parents and caregivers. This role will also be charged with using social media as a performance channel to drive measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is both creative and data-driven, with a deep understanding of how to engage parents while also converting followers into customers


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  1. Build and execute a results-oriented social media strategy that supports brand storytelling and drives conversions, particularly on Instagram (e.g., optimized link-in-bio, product tagging, Stories with CTAs, and Reels that lead to purchase)
  2. Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and key seasonal moments
  3. Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, platform updates, and best practices


Content Creation & Execution

  1. Develop high-quality, on-brand content in partnership with internal teams, agencies, and external creators—balancing aesthetic appeal and community growth with shoppable functionality
  2. Write compelling copy and captions that reflect brand tone and connect with our audience (engage, educate, convert)
  3. Create and edit short-form video content designed to perform in-platform and push users toward action


Conversion-Focused Tactics

  1. Leverage platform tools such as Instagram Shopping, link stickers, and product tags to turn social content into a direct sales channel
  2. Partner with the e-commerce and marketing team to align social campaigns with digital promotions and sales goals
  3. Track and optimize CTAs, clicks, and shopping behavior from social platforms


Community & Influencer Management

  1. Actively monitor and engage with comments, DMs, tags, and mentions to foster a vibrant and supportive community
  2. Build and manage influencer/creator partnerships and content creation
  3. Partner with Customer Service & Product team to respond to product-related inquiries or concerns
  4. Update and manage LinkedIn page to build brand presence


Analytics & Reporting

  1. Monitor KPIs including engagement, reach, CTR, conversion rates, and sales attribution from social channels
  2. Produce regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimization


Brand Voice & Consistency

  1. Ensure brand voice, visual identity, and messaging consistency across all platforms
  2. Protect and elevate the integrity of both brands in digital spaces


Team Management

  1. Foster a culture of growth and development for the social media team


Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of social media experience, preferably in consumer products, baby/parenting, wellness, or lifestyle brands
  2. Demonstrated success growing social accounts and driving conversion
  3. Experience managing a team
  4. Experience creating or overseeing the creation of social-first photo and video content
  5. Excellent writing and storytelling ability with a knack for tone and audience connection (can partner with copywriter)
  6. Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Sprout, Hootsuite)
  7. Experience working with influencers, creators, or brand ambassadors
  8. Organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
