Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, scheduling, and posting content on social media (pulling from a variety of content sources including YouTube) as well as developing and implementing social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing and business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and insights to inform content and engagement strategies.
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor reviews.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Creativity and ability to think out of the box.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with clients in is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in content marketing and digital marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
