The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Social Media team, and reports directly to the Director, Social Media & Digital Content. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the delivery of AUSA Social Media presence including delivery of timelines and coordinating creative asset requests for content being promoted across our Optimum social media channels for both B2C & B2B. (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok etc.) This entails working closely and collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as outside partners, to ensure we are always supporting the company goals, customer acquisition, customer retention, customer revenue growth, and overall online brand reputation.

You will be the primary owner for scheduling all Optimum channel social media posts once final creative is released.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with social media scheduling tools and project management.  In addition, you are a strong verbal and written communicator who is comfortable briefing cross-functional teams & partners on social media opportunities and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary owner for scheduling all B2C & B2B organic social media posts.
  • Manage briefs and content proposals from cross-functional teams & outside partners.
  • Assist Director with content calendar planning & strategy.
  • Project management of all social media creative and campaigns.
  • Submit social creative jobs within project management tool and see to fruition.
  • Be up to date on all available products, promotions, launches, brand news, under the Optimum brands.
  • Assist Director with social platform rep relationships for new products and escalation needs.
  • Stay in the know of social media trends, emerging platforms, and available tools for businesses.
  • Liaise with PR/Comms team to ensure, D&I, holidays, cultural diversity, events, and important milestones are supported and celebrated through social content and marketing messaging.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a social media role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related relevant fields.
  • Excellent Project Management experience, managing large project/programs independently
  • Strong awareness of cultural trends relevant to our business.
  • A deep understanding and passion for social media.
  • Understanding of paid social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to present strategy and information clearly.
  • You’re a team player armed with a positive attitude who takes pride in being able to work well with others.
  • Can build presentations appropriate for executive audiences and present a compelling story behind the data.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and influencing colleagues in a highly matrixed cross functional environment.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, maintaining high quality, accuracy and consistency of deliverables.
