Overall Responsibilities:

The Social Media Channel Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the organic social media platform strategy for a short-form video platform, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines. This role involves managing the content pipeline, optimizing performance, identifying new opportunities, and actively participating in real-time trend monitoring and reactive content creation to foster strong community engagement.

Top Daily Responsibilities:

1. Implement and manage the brand's short-form video content strategy, continuously evolving based on performance metrics and audience insights.
2. Maintain and communicate best practices for channel optimization, content delivery, and asset specifications.
3. Review and provide feedback on incoming content requests from various marketing teams, guiding them through the approval process to ensure adherence to platform strategy and brand guidelines.
4. Conduct ongoing channel audits to identify and implement opportunities for profile and content organization and curation.
5. Stay informed of platform updates and support a test-and-learn agenda for new features and content formats.
6. Collaborate with internal teams on opportunities for cross-posting or adapting short-form video content across different platforms.
7. Monitor real-time social trends and conversations, gathering insights to propose and execute reactive content strategies in collaboration with creative partners.

Required Skills:

1. 4-6 years of experience in social media/channel management, with a strong focus on short-form video content
2. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
3. Experience at large consumer brands, ideally tech experience and/or interest in AI
4. Deep understanding of internet culture and norms across social platforms
5. Pulse on social conversation and trends
6. Collaborative and able to work well x-functionally
7. Detail oriented & highly organized
8. Experience with Sprinklr and native publishing to social media platforms
