Job Description:

We are a fast-growing e-commerce agency specializing in Shopify web development and Klaviyo email marketing, working with brands to create high-converting, visually stunning online stores. Our team is dedicated to delivering top-tier design and development solutions that drive results.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Shopify Developer & Designer who not only has strong development skills but also has an exceptional eye for design. The ideal candidate must be proficient in customizing Shopify themes using the Shopify Customizer, working with Liquid code, and handling custom coding tasks. This role requires someone who understands both functionality and aesthetics—ensuring that the final product is not only technically sound but also visually compelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop Shopify store pages using the Shopify Customizer, ensuring a visually engaging and conversion-focused layout.
  2. Create wireframes, prototypes, and full mockups for Shopify websites using Figma.
  3. Work with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize Shopify themes and implement custom-coded solutions.
  4. Ensure all designs are optimized for performance, mobile responsiveness, and UX best practices.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and clients to translate brand vision into high-quality designs and functional store layouts.
  6. Troubleshoot and optimize existing Shopify stores, fixing design issues, improving speed, and enhancing user experience.
  7. Implement and test third-party apps, integrations, and custom features based on project needs.
  8. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all Shopify pages.
  9. Stay up to date with Shopify best practices, design trends, and new development tools.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in Shopify development AND design. You must be able to create visually stunning pages within the Shopify Customizer and also work with Liquid code for custom functionalities.
  2. Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and mockups.
  3. Strong expertise in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—experience with Shopify APIs is a plus.
  4. Exceptional design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, spacing, and modern web design trends.
  5. Experience customizing and optimizing Shopify themes for speed, performance, and conversion rate optimization.
  6. Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  7. Familiarity with Figma, Sketch App, Adobe XD, or other design tools to interpret and implement design mockups.
  8. Strong understanding of e-commerce UX/UI principles and best practices.
  9. Experience with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or advanced theme customizations.
  10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits:

  1. Competitive salary.
  2. Flexible working hours.
  3. Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team.
  4. Continuous learning and professional development.
  5. Remote work environment.

How to Apply:

If you are a passionate and creative designer who meets the above requirements, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter explaining why you are the perfect fit for this role.
