SEO Lead
120/80 is a fast-growing and award-winning digital agency. Our clients include universities, small businesses, and collaborative partnerships with other marketing consultants. We are actively seeking a SEO Lead who has a strong understanding of lead generation and is obsessed with finding new ways to grow our client’s pipeline.
Our team is remote between Chicago, Wisconsin, and other locations. You will also have the opportunity to learn about data analytics, SEO, demand generation, account-based marketing, and intent-based marketing. Our team is fun and full of nerdy, effective marketers. This is not a bloated old-school agency or a job you can fly under the radar.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO audits in a timely manner to support business development.
- Construct a thorough competitive SEO analysis and ranking on an ongoing basis.
- Customize a targeted keyword list for both SEO and SEM efforts.
- Conduct research on the latest SEO trends/changes and actively manage around them.
- Execute SEO deliverables such as H1-H5 Tag Optimization, Meta Titles/Descriptions, Link Building, XML Sitemap Creation and Installation, Site Speed Analysis and Repair, Image Tag Optimization, Google Webmaster Tools and Analytics Installation, Content Optimization and Internal Linking, Site Crawlability, URL Parameters, Schema Implementation, URL Re-directs, and CMS Plugin Installations.
- Recommend Industry best practices, tools, and standards
Experience:
- Working knowledge in SEO tools such as SEMRush, SpyFu, Screaming Frog, Google WebMaster Tools, Ahrefs, Moz, SEO Power Suite, Bright Edge, Conductor, or Equivalent.
- Has an understanding of key data drivers of SEO and is able to push data insights to a dashboard (google data studio, Excel, Power Bi, or Tableau)
- A strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and the relationship between SEM, SEO, and Content Marketing.
- Experience in multiple Content Management Systems (CMS) and knowledge in HTML, XML, JavaScript, Flash and CSS as they relate to SEO
- Comfortable communicating SEO analysis and strategy to all levels within an organization.
- Comfortable setting up Directory Listings, Reputation Management, Google My Business (and other variations)
- Can execute SEO deliverables autonomously with little to no supervision
- Is passionate about organic search and is naturally curious about the latest research and trends around SEO.
- Is analytical and data-driven, has the ability to pull insights/trends relevant to SEO
- Comfortable, transitioning and managing oneself, a team, vendors, or consultants as needed.
